To properly handle inheritance law cases, specialization in inheritance law is a must. Through his work experience in both notarial and legal practice, Jaap knows from different perspectives how inheritance law disputes can best be resolved. After successfully passing an entrance exam, Jaap is a member of the Association of Inheritance Law Attorneys Netherlands (VEAN). An inheritance law dispute is always emotional and far-reaching. Jaap’s motto is, “Let’s look for what unites us instead of magnifying the differences. Jaap strives to straighten things out as much as possible, always preferring a negotiated solution, but if necessary Jaap does not shy away from legal proceedings.
